Oh joyous ocean of emerald! Your coolness on bare feet is like a mother’s touch. As spring evolves into summer, you spring up from  underfoot like a dry sponge. Oh joyous pastoral monument of solace! How soothing your allure in spring, summer, winter, and fall. Your invitation to stop, play, run, roll, and relax is never refused! Oh joyous beacon of hopeful sage! My affection for you is undying! Your infinite spiritual healing powers and gentle fragrance - reminiscent of home.

     It was an icy, chilly autumn morning. A small, salty droplet of sweat rolled down my cheek. My dark, smooth hair was covered in tiny droplets of rain, just like thin green grass covered in dew on a summer morning. I had been running around for a rock solid 45 minutes now, through the rough, challenging rain. I had been chasing the ball for the whole time, trying to prove to the team of my eligibility for the position I liked, to my demanding team, and coach, and pull my own weight, not depending on others. The weather was not on our side that particular day, and the harsh, challenging rain drenched us in rain, making us soaking wet. The forecast had predicted a slight drizzle, and I had not been prepared for this harsh autumn rain. I had not brought a poncho, or even an umbrella.   Everyone was so overly excited when we were on the way to the park that's not that far away. We walked past my house, a HUGE police station. Then we saw it, Beautiful trees line the outside of the park that’s surrounded by a huge lake that separates Michigan from Canada called Lake St. Clair. There was also a fish statue in front of the entrance to the park that was called Pier Park. I have so many memories there but here's one… We went into the beautifully decorated park and little did i know...   We walked to the playground that was huge with lots of slides it was overwhelming how many there were. We played on the playscape for about an hour then we had to go eat. We had pizza from Little Caesars. It was my favorite at the time.  Al little after we ate we went to the pool well the splash pad because we weren't allowed to go to the pool because we were only 5 at the time. St. Mary's Swim Meet    I had 6 swim races that day but these were my favorite races so I’m going to write about these ones. The early morning sun shined through the St. Mary’s pool windows like a church’s windows on a Sunday morning. It was also very cold since it was still 7 in the morning and it was also late November so about early winter or late fall. Before the first races the whole Tac swim team or mudsharks huddled up and our coach motivated us. “This is what y'all have been working up to for the past year. We’ve pushed ourselves super hard at every single practice so try your hardest. You don't have to win, just go for your PB’s.” I was super motivated since this was my first swim meet as a swimmer for Tac. (I was on the Asij ES swim team before that) “50 fly heat 6!” The announcer yelled.   The Way to the High Score in MAP TEST When I first came to this school there were lots of sounds that I haven’t heard before and that was English. Since I wasn’t fluent I didn’t know what they are talking about so I didn’t show my emotion that often and I also, didn’t ask the teacher. Since I was small I didn’t know this was the school. When I ever go back home, I felt started to feel remorse because I wasn’t able to talk.  After I going to ASIJ for 1 week,  I started to have a special class with special teachers that teach about English to people who are not fluent. When I first enter that classroom the sun started to be brighter, brighter, brighter, and more! For some reason, I was very smile and peaceful in my mind but this is the weird thing I wasn’t showing my emotion in my face or body.  “What is your name?” she asked with gently and bright sunshine.  “... It was A cold winter's night, the winds were howling outside my window, It was starting to rain and we were all hoping for snow. I was laying on my bed dreaming of being outside with no school the next day and having snowball fights with my sister. We had no heating running through the house so I climbed down from my bed, got a cushion and some pillows and snuggled up against my radiator, all was peaceful, and I started to wonder when my dad was going to come home from work, I had finished all my homework and used all my computer time so that was really the only care in the world for me, I imagined myself running down the stairs to greet him, and telling him about the snow that would maybe fall soon. I was so caught up in my own thoughts, when the door slammed downstairs I jumped out of my skin, the door groaned back into its place, I knew that nobody else was going to be coming that night so I bounced down the hall, I was looking over the railing and I saw him.  “Hey! Wake up!” my dad shouted at me like an alarm clock, louder than 1000 wolves howling at the same time. I sat up on my bed, pondering about the first day of school. Close to every single one of my classmates were going to be in a different class, except for a couple kids that would be in my class. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, then walked downstairs, slowly, trying to somehow delay the bus. I sat at the table and my dad handed me a bag of cereal, as I poured my milk inside the bowl full of sugary delights that had to be unhealthy. I packed my things, iPad, iPhone, notebook, pencil, and folders. I had a very bad feeling, as if I were a fortune teller, able to find what was going to happen. At the speed of light I felt a sudden sting of panic and started to cry. I told myself like my mom had every single day, “Don’t worry, it will be all fine.” And I held back my tears with every bit of willpower that I had and, I took a deep breath then walked out the door.
