On demand writing Ryunosuke

The Way to the High Score in MAP TEST

When I first came to this school there were lots of sounds that I haven’t heard before and that was English. Since I wasn’t fluent I didn’t know what they are talking about so I didn’t show my emotion that often and I also, didn’t ask the teacher. Since I was small I didn’t know this was the school. When I ever go back home, I felt started to feel remorse because I wasn’t able to talk.

After I going to ASIJ for 1 week,  I started to have a special class with special teachers that teach about English to people who are not fluent. When I first enter that classroom the sun started to be brighter, brighter, brighter, and more! For some reason, I was very smile and peaceful in my mind but this is the weird thing I wasn’t showing my emotion in my face or body.

“What is your name?” she asked with gently and bright sunshine.

“... Ryunosuke” I said in a confused way.

When I said my name she didn’t laugh or anything she was just smiling and I thought that she was wanted to teach or help to be better at English. She started to say “ welcome to this class, now on I’m your support teacher.” I was happy that I could talk and learn with her since she looks nice.

2 years later I was in 3rd grade! Also, my English skill was better and better than 1st grade.

“ Please open up your iPad so that you could do your MAP test!” said the teacher.

When I heard that the clouds started to disappear from the sky and started to show the sky with huge blue. Also, when I started doing the test the sky didn’t change.

By the time I thought I was done with the test. I didn’t felt any accomplishment or happiness, I was calm.

When I came back home, I told my parents about what we did at school. When I finished talking to my parents, my dad started to talk to me “ you don’t need to worry about the test, because this is your first time taking the MAP test and you are not completely fluent(in English)”.  The sky started to roar like a lion and there was a thunderstorm bumping into the building. I felt remorse because I’m not fluent in speaking  English.  When I saw the score I was very low, lower than the ASIJ average score. I didn’t know how to show my emotion.

After that MAP test, I started to read the books for 1hr per day, and I worked on my English was hard to get a better score on the MAP test.

When I became in 6th grade I was very confident to get the best score on the reading MAP test. When I started working on it, the sun and rainbow started to come out. When I kept doing the problems, I noticed that every problem that I have working on was a long period of text.

After I finished I felt full of accomplishment.

The time passes by the score(of MAP test)was here to tell me. When I saw the sheet, the rainbow and everything was up in the sky to celebrate or to accomplish me! I was very happy because the score of the test was 235! I was over the ASIJ’s average score! I was so happy that my parents jump over where.

After that, I thought that never giving up is the best way to make you a great person and make you feel better about yourself. And that’s what my parents were thinking about the same exact things as me. The bright sunshine and the colorful rainbow was about to close my celebrate and change to work hard again for my MAP test again.
